E. 'Ember Lace', along with E. 'Cleopatra', is a very popular pink and green-leaved cultivar. However, it is not seen as frequently as 'Cleopatra', and must be managed carefully to avoid reversion of the plant to an all-green form. Crowns and stolons without the variegation must be ruthlessly removed.
The flower of E. 'Ember Lace' is particularly beautiful, but seldom produced in quantity.
