Design

The design sections of gesneriad flower shows have always been popular with members of the public, as well as with gesneriad exhibitors and growers.   The objective in the design classes is to use gesneriad plant material in arrangements to decorative effect.  In many cases, the design classes require that a particular theme be represented.

The images below are of designs exhibited at gesneriad flower shows.  No attempt has been made to classify the arrangements into show categories, only to represent the designs as effectively as possible.
