Gesneria pedicellaris x G.
pedunculosa
Grown at Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh
This hybrid was shrubby and upright, about 60 cm (two feet) tall -- very unlike the diminutive Gesnerias often grown in protected environments. A photo showing more of the whole plant may be seen by clicking here. A bed (not in flower) of G. pedicellaris may be seen here, and a flower of G. pedunculosa here.
