Mr. Boggan has been hybridizing Kohlerias with the objective of producing interesting foliage colors and patterns, combined with bright and interesting flowers.  K. 'Silver Feather' is a nice illustration of the success he has had to date, as is K. 'Snakeskin'.  One of the ancestors of this hybrid is K. bogotensis.
