This recent collection by Alain Chautems is very different than other Nematanthus, although it has been shown to cross with the more conventional members of the genus.   Codonanthe is a genus closely related to Nematanthus, and these species resemble "Codonanthes on steroids).  Another photo shows more of the plant.  A similar unnamed species can be seen here.
