Vanhouttea is a small genus of shrubby plants from Brazil.  It is separated from the closely related genus Sinningia by the absence of tubers, and from Paliavana by the tubular red or orange flowers.  A closer view of the flower can be seen here.  Other photos can be seen here and here.
